The European Commision aims at strenghening to co-operation of EU Memeber States in the field of civil protection. The inclusion of the new EU Member States in CADSES requires the creation and sharing of common guidelines and tools to prevent and manage natural and man-made disasters. Red Code aims at setting up methodologies and actions to achieve the basis for a transnational protocol of agreements for disaster prevention, monitoring and management. For this reason Red Code software has been created.
